This bot is an unofficial fan project with no affiliation to Critical Force Ltd. or Discord Inc.
SECTION 01
ELIGIBILITY
You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement to use this bot, which is 13 years of age in most regions (or older where local law requires it). Server administrators are responsible for ensuring their server complies with Discord's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
By adding this bot to a server, you represent that you have the authority to do so and that the server complies with all applicable Discord policies.
SECTION 02
PERMITTED USE
This bot is provided for personal, non-commercial, community use within Discord servers. Permitted uses include:
- Looking up Critical Ops player statistics and profiles
- Managing and viewing your economy balance and inventory
- Opening cases and acquiring virtual in-game skins
- Using moderation tools to manage your server (for server administrators)
- Linking your Discord account to your Critical Ops in-game account
You are allowed to use the bot's features as they are intended and documented. Bot administrators and server moderators are granted additional permissions based on their roles, and are expected to exercise those privileges responsibly.
SECTION 03
PROHIBITED CONDUCT
The following are not allowed under any circumstances:
3.1 — ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION
Attempting to exploit bugs, race conditions, or unintended behaviors to gain an unfair advantage in the economy system, bypass cooldowns, or manipulate balances is prohibited. If you discover a bug that could be exploited, report it to the developers rather than abusing it.
3.2 — AUTOMATED ABUSE
Using bots, scripts, macros, or any automated tooling to interact with this bot at a rate that exceeds normal human usage is prohibited. This includes automated farming of daily rewards or economy transactions.
3.3 — HARASSMENT THROUGH BOT FEATURES
Using moderation commands, economy features, or any other bot function to harass, target, threaten, or harm other users is prohibited. This applies to server administrators misusing moderation tools against users without legitimate cause.
3.4 — IMPERSONATION
Misrepresenting yourself as a bot developer, administrator, or as having elevated permissions you do not actually hold is prohibited.
3.5 — INTERFERENCE WITH BOT OPERATION
Attempting to crash, overload, disrupt, or otherwise interfere with the bot or its backend API server is prohibited. This includes flooding the bot with commands in bad faith.
3.6 — CIRCUMVENTING ACCESS CONTROLS
Attempting to bypass admin-only commands, rate limits, or permission checks is prohibited.
SECTION 04
ECONOMY SYSTEM
The economy system (currency, inventory, cases, shop) is a virtual system with no real-world monetary value. Specifically:
- Currency balances and inventory items hold no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or services.
- We do not sell currency, cases, or items for real money.
- We do not guarantee the availability of any economy feature. The economy system may be altered, reset, or removed at any time without notice or compensation.
- Virtual items and balances are non-transferable between Discord accounts except through bot features explicitly designed for that purpose.
- Daily reward amounts and shop prices are subject to change at any time.
If the economy system is reset or discontinued, no compensation of any kind will be offered.
SECTION 05
MODERATION FEATURES
If you are a server administrator using this bot's moderation features, the following applies:
5.1 — ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITY
You are solely responsible for how you configure and use moderation features within your server. The bot's developers are not responsible for moderation decisions made by server staff.
5.2 — MODERATION LOGS
Moderation actions taken through this bot (bans, kicks, mutes, warnings) are recorded in a backend database tied to your server's guild ID. These logs remain accessible to bot administrators. Server administrators can request deletion of their server's configuration and logs by running the appropriate command or contacting the developers.
5.3 — AUDIT AND COMPLIANCE
Server administrators must ensure their use of moderation features complies with Discord's Terms of Service and all applicable laws. Using the bot's moderation tools to act in violation of Discord's policies may result in your server or account being reported.
5.4 — MESSAGE AND MEMBER LOGGING
If you configure message and member log channels, you acknowledge that deleted and edited messages from your server's members will be relayed to those channels. It is your responsibility as a server administrator to inform your members that such logging is in effect, in accordance with applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction.
SECTION 06
PROFILE LINKING
The /link command associates your Discord account with a Critical Ops in-game account. By using this feature you confirm:
- The Critical Ops account you are linking belongs to you.
- You are not linking an account that belongs to another person without their consent.
- You understand that your linked profile may be visible to other users who run profile lookup commands.
You can remove a linked account at any time using /unlink. We are not responsible for any information publicly visible through the Critical Ops API about accounts you choose to link.
SECTION 07
AVAILABILITY AND SERVICE CHANGES
This bot is provided on an as-is, best-effort basis. We do not guarantee:
- Continuous or uninterrupted availability of the bot
- That any particular feature will remain available indefinitely
- That the bot will be free from bugs or errors
- Any specific response time or uptime percentage
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may also take the bot offline temporarily or permanently for maintenance, updates, or any other reason without prior notice. No compensation is owed for downtime or feature removal.
SECTION 08
SUSPENSION AND BANS
The bot developers reserve the right to revoke access to the bot for any user or server at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. This includes but is not limited to:
- Economy abuse or exploitation
- Harassment of other users through bot features
- Attempts to interfere with or attack the bot's backend
- Server administrators who use the bot to violate Discord's Terms of Service
Banned users or servers will not receive refunds of virtual currency or items.
SECTION 09
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
This bot interacts with two external services:
9.1 — DISCORD
The bot runs on the Discord platform. Your use of Discord itself is governed by Discord's own Terms of Service (discord.com/terms). We have no control over Discord's platform policies.
9.2 — CRITICAL OPS / CRITICAL FORCE LTD.
Player profile lookups retrieve data from the public Critical Ops API. Your in-game account and statistics are subject to Critical Force Ltd.'s own terms and policies. We do not have a formal relationship with Critical Force Ltd. and this project is not endorsed by them.
We are not liable for the practices, policies, or availability of either of these third-party services.
SECTION 10
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
This bot is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
The developers make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of player statistics retrieved from the Critical Ops API, the reliability of economy balances being preserved, or the absence of bugs in any feature.
SECTION 11
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the bot developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use this bot. This includes loss of virtual items or currency, server disruption caused by bot features, or moderation actions taken through the bot.
SECTION 12
PRIVACY
Use of this bot is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes what data is collected, how it is stored, and your rights over that data. The Privacy Policy is available at the same location as these Terms of Service.
In cases of conflict between these terms and the Privacy Policy on matters of data handling, the Privacy Policy takes precedence.
SECTION 13
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
These terms may be updated at any time. The date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the bot after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Major changes will be announced in the official support server where reasonably possible.
